Tenby and Caldey Island.

On Monday ..the weather was beautiful. I woke early and took the bus to the train and went to Tenby. Tenby is about 40 miles from the Chalet. It is a really nice coastal town in West Wales.
I arrived and decided to take the ferry boat to Caldey Island, which is a really cool, quiet island owned by the monks of the Cistercian Oder. The monastery dominates the village.
There are tons of paths to walk and a chocolate factory where the fudge is made.
The monks are walking around ...they never leave the island...they wake up at 3:30am to begin prayer and chanting.

I admire their dedication, but I personally could never be a monk.
They eat in silence.
